USC turned out athletes like O.J. Mayo (who despite what the media stated, was NOT the next Lebron), Romeo-o wait,NOPE,he got a full basketball scholarship and only averaged somewhere around 4mins per game-. They did however turn out former Heisman winner and Superbowl champ Reggie Bush. They almost had 6'8 330lb offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson. Seantrel is the #1 Nations top recruit. He was released from his contract at USC and now will be attending Miami Hurricanes this fall. Henderson asked Lane Kiffin to be released after the scandal surrounding Reggie Bush cost USC 4yrs probation, banned for 2yrs and lost USC lots and lots of moolah. After being assured everything was OK, Seantrel waited for the NCAA infractions committee to reach a decision. When they did, not only did USC lose Seantrel, they also lost defensive end Malik Jackson. Despite rumors that Henderson is suspended for (IDK), he is indeed guaranteed to play September 5,2011 in the season opener against Maryland.(The team my former neighbor and friend plays for, Adrian Coxson (#7) whoop whoop!) And according to Seantrel's facebook things are going as planned. I did have Seantrel's phone number or email(i don't really remember,i lost track) but uh...I stopped doing my blog and I never got around to interviewing him so I deleted it... If i had it again though I would ask him, WHY MIAMI, when schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Iowa, ND, Ohio State wanted you? Not even necessarily all them schools, but Auburn, who just had Cam Newton (Heisman winner & #1Draft pick) and won a BCS championship,me personally I would have been riding the wave and went to Auburn. But that's why Seantrel plays and not me! Maybe he went because he wants to leave his own mark and not follow behind Cam Newton.
