Carr & Cassell

I was sitting in the gym @ Baltimore City Community College and I got there around 4:22pm to hang around until the BIG game started @ "6pm", which really started @ around 7pm. There was a girls AAU game and a boys AAU game. My intention was NOT to write anything about this game but then I seen Aquille Carr and Sam Cassel Jr. walk onto the court and I said " This should be a good game." Aquille,has been nicknamed "Rabbit" by my friend Kenya,because she says of his speed and his ability to get height to make his baskets. I honestly only payed attention to some of the game because after awhile it seemed like it was NO defense was being played so it was like watching 1 person run up and down the court to shoot a basket, which can become very boring. This game was Samos vs Chaos. I can say every team that has a dynamic duo, it is easy to spot, and every time I think about a duo I think about Demarcus Cousins & John Wall, Kevin Durant & DJ Augustin, Sheron Collins & Mario Chalmers...when I see Donte Greene and J.Y. I see a good game, when I see Aquille and Sam together, I know I need to be focused. When Aquille and Sam were benched I noticed that the Samos team was able to pull away every single time. 9:53 left in the 1st half, Samos was leading 25-16 with 4 fouls to Chaos 1. There is NO I in team but I am just saying. Though playing a game, Aquille was joking and playing around on the court which made for a not so intense game. I watch Aquille & Sam play @ the Melo center on Monday's and Wednesday's and I'm always impressed...this game, not so much. Aquille is like a secret weapon because he is little it seems like he barely gets pressed so players fall back off him and then when they do,he attacks. Sam on the other hand is a shooter and his bad shots never make it to my notes because his Good shots are always Great Shots. They ended up losing(114-112) but I cant wait to see them back in the Melo center on Monday.
